We are delighted to announce that Utility Bidder has been named Sales Leaders of the Year in The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs).
The TELCAs are the equivalent of the energy sector’s Oscars. The great and good of our industry were gathered at the Honourable Artillery Company showgrounds in the heart of the City of London recently to learn who was the best in the business. It was a particularly exciting night for us as we had been shortlisted as finalists in four categories, namely: Awesome Place to Work, Sales Leaders of the Year, Secret Star and Best Advice categories.
“2018 was already a great year for the company having been nominated as finalists in four TELCA categories,” says CEO Chris Shaw. “Being named overall winner in the Sales Leaders of the Year was just the icing on the cake.”
The TELCA judges were looking for evidence of a sales team that are ambassadors of the company, that showed integrity in treating the customer fairly and ensuring the right solution is agreed between the customer and the broker. Utility Bidder clearly fitted the bill.
As our hundreds of customers will know, our team are passionate about providing outstanding customer care. We are totally transparent about what we do and our five-star Trust Pilot review backs up that claim.
All our customers have a bespoke service managed by a personal sales executive and all our staff are keen to reach Elite sales status. We encourage some good-natured competitiveness to reward staff as well as ensure that Utility Bidder customers get the best possible deal on their business energy prices.
Chris adds: “It is fabulous to be recognized by our peers to be among the crème de la crème of the energy industry. The award win is testament to our hard-working staff and our thousands of loyal customers.
“The vision for our company is to build unrivalled customer service, alongside a determination to offer above-and-beyond value to our clients. The TELCA award win validates our business approach and demonstrates that we are well on the way to delivering the vision.”
