Job Role:

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to retain top customers and nurture those key relationships over time. You’ll become a strategic partner and advisor to the customer, understanding their needs and establishing opportunities to enhance their experience with Utility Bidder.

Job Description:

  • Provide a high quality Account Management service for our most valuable customers with the aim of building long term relationships that increase retention and unlock opportunities.
  • As a dedicated resource for key accounts, you’ll be committed to helping them solve their problems, realise their business goals, and achieve success.
  • You’ll work closely to the customer to understand their specific needs to improve customer retention.
  • You’ll understand the customer journey and make recommendations to drive a consistent customer experience.
  • Establish regular touchpoints with customers to help build trust and rapport.
  • Working closely with the sales team to help maximise sales targets.
  • Research our competitors within the marketplace to understand how we can develop our customer proposition.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to develop and deliver effective marketing initiatives that support he customer journey.
  • You’ll help to provide data, reporting and trends that help the business to understand customer needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover to customers.
  • Work effectively with all other departments to support in the delivery of company objectives and projects.

Job Requirements:

  • You have previous experience as an Account Manager/Senior Sales Advisor within the energy market.
  • You’ll have experience of providing account management to high value accounts.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to find a win-win solution.
  • Self-motivated with the drive to deliver results within a competitive market.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
  • Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical capability.
  • Accurate, with a thorough approach and attention to detail.
  • You’ll know your way around a computer.
  • Initiative and a desire to learn & grow with the business.
  • A collaborator, team worker and effective communicator.
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure.
